We at Vestas are now looking for a service technician to join our team in Motala.
The service department for Sweden and Finland is responsible for the service and maintenance of our wind turbines in the countries. Vestas Northern and Central Europe strives to be the highest performing business unit within Vestas, both in terms of modern energy and customer satisfaction as well as being the most attractive place to work. With these ambitions, the service technician who takes care of customers' turbines plays an important role at the forefront of our service agreements. Tasks
Service and maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with service agreements
Customer contact with owners regarding upcoming service and clear reporting of performed actions
Responsibility and care of the service car incl. its warehouse
Daily reporting and registration in our business system, Salesforce

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
Experience or education in electrical or mechanical engineering. You are also willing to develop your skills in the areas
Good general computer skills
Good oral and written proficiency in both Swedish and English (corporate language)
Previous experience as a service technician or similar work is meritorious
Driving licence B

Competences
You are service-minded, have great collaborative skills and can easily communicate with other parts of the organization
You are solution-oriented, driven, structured and able to work independently
You have a high security mindset
The service involves traveling with overnight stays for various further education and assistance in other areas. For this service, high flexibility in terms of travel and working hours is an absolute requirement

A requirement for employment is that you are approved for mast and post certificates, which consist of a load ECG and medical examination, which is performed during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities
You will travel around the country, supporting our colleagues with service, maintenance, and commissioning, on our wind farms
Primarily in Sweden but also in the Nordic region
Our service requires high demands on accuracy and professionalism, as we are extremely careful that our service work is performed with the highest quality in the safest way
You should be motivated, responsible and have cost awareness
You will be flexible and not afraid of rapid change and new opportunities


Qualifications
You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
You Don't have to be an expert in turbine work to start, we will teach you how we operate. Of course, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery experience is attractive
You have the Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, and working while carrying materials and tools round in the turbine
You hold a valid driver's license
You have basic computer operation skills, and familiar with internet-based program navigation, and can generate and interpret computer data
You can read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics and have attention to detail to follow safety protocols in both English and Swedish
You can effectively communicate with customers and collaborate with co-workers in both English and Swedish

Service and maintenance of wind turbines
Troubleshooting and repair of wind turbines, both mechanical and electrical
Commissioning of new turbines
Control of own inventory of spare parts and tools

Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a service technician for Motala, who will be part of the service team responsible for service and maintenance of our wind farms in Tanumshede. We are looking for you with a positive attitude who enjoys working in teams. The service places high demands on accuracy and professionalism as we are extremely careful that our service work is performed with the highest quality and safety. To achieve goals fully with the tasks, we believe that you are a person who has good knowledge of electricity and / or mechanics, is service-oriented and business-like.
Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting and repair of wind turbines, both mechanical and electrical
Service and maintenance of wind turbines in accordance with service agreements
Customer contact with owners regarding upcoming service / repairs and clear reporting of measures performed
Responsibility and care of the service car incl. its stock
Responsibility for spare parts keeping and inventory of local warehouses as well as orders for materials / spare parts / tools, returned goods etc.
Daily reporting and registration in our business system, SAP


Qualifications:
We are looking for you who have:
Experience or education in electricity or mechanics. You are also willing to develop your skills in the areas
Good general computer skills
Good knowledge of both Swedish and English (corporate language) in speech and writing
Previous experience as a service technician or similar work is an additional attribiute
Driving license
